Morning Saints, this is Pastor Zo I hope we are all well under the mighty hand of God. As you know we are on Corona Virus Lockdown and this gives us opportunity to share our quiet time insights Today scripture as per our quiet time schedule is found in Mark 13: 1 - 13. This is the QT scripture for today. Huuhuuuuuu...what an interesting subject, Jesus is teaching about the end times and what are the signs. An interesting subject considering what we are experiencing globally. In verse 13 He says those who endure until the end will be saved. Based on the scripture for the day, would you say we are in the end times and why?
Sis Ditlhare writes: Morning Ps zo,Ps Mo,and the Saints. In my understanding of the text,my answer is no,I dont think we are in the end times yet because from verse 7,it is stated that these things will or must happen but they don't signify the end as yet; that the gospel must first be preached to all the nations; my understanding is that these things ie what we are seeing or experiencing now, signify the beginning of the suffering that Christian's will go through, due to the preaching of the gospel, hence Christ encourages the disciples not to worry about what they will say when they are arrested, that the Holy Spirit will put words in their mouths.Meaning those (christians) who will preach the gospel in this dispensation, will be persecuted but they should take heart ie endure to the end so they will be saved.May God help us to preach the gospel and to endure till the end so that we may all be saved,in the name of Jesus Christ, Amem.Shalom
Sis Kuda writes... Greetings to all saints ,ps Zo and ps Mo. Well thanks ps Zo for a nice scripture which revealed truely that we are in the endtimes .If we look at vs 6 when he said, " For many shall come in my name saying ,am Christ and shall deceive many ". This is happening today as many false prophets are coming up in the name of Jesus Christ and many are following them. Also some of the things he mentioned for example nation against nation, earthquakes, famines and troubles are already at hand. In his conclusion he said but some will endure to the end, so they will be saved, which tells us that we must be in his presence all the time
2 SAMUEL 22:4 I will call on the LORD,who is worthy to be praised:so shall I be saved from mine enemies... May the Lord deliver us and save us from our enemies...
PSALM 34:17 The righteous cry,and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.. As we pray may our God set us free and deliver us.
PSALM 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble, I will deliver thee and thou shalt glorify me As we call upon the Lord in this time of trouble may he deliver us and protect us from all our enemies and this invisible enemy corona in the powerful name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.......POWERFUL🌹
did you try to see if you can get the latest appear first🤔The last of the revelation and reflection on Crucifixion Friday to Resurrection Sunday. Can we just look at how King David prophetically foresaw this: 1. Psalm 22 for Crucifixion Friday where Jesus cried with loud voice saying “My God, my God why haven’t you forsaken me?” 2. Psalm 23 for Sabbath after crucifixion “though I walk through the shadow of the valley of death, I will fear no evil because you are with me”. 3. Psalm 24 for Resurrection Sunday 9 Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 10 Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty- he is the King of glory.
Now let me pause and take you backward...allow me to dream for a little while... Any error in this interpretation of my dream is because of my humanness...cut me a little slack🙏🏽 1. As He left as a repentant revolutionary sinner in paradise, the host of heavenly worshipping team followed Him with shouts of Victory to hades where the devil and his angels had a party. 2. This was the first time after Lucifer turned devil that he heard that sound. 3. He knew the sound because he was once an angel of light and used to conduct heavenly choir on this victory song. 4. With shock and surprise hades/hell asked what did this mean because according to them God was defeated. 5. As the sound came closer there was great quake that open hell’s gates and behold who enters the gates? 6. The same one David prophetically sang about in Psalm 24 “who is this King of Glory? The Lord God Almighty is His name. 7. The Devil’s and his demons looked up and bowed to the King of Glory. Devil thought this was his end but didn't know that Jesus only came to forcefully take the keys as explained earlier on Sabbath. 8. And Jesus went back to paradise and opened for the souls of the saints of old. 9. Oh! What a great celebration as they sang and praised God for Jesus’ victory over the devil forever. 10. In the midst of that joyous celebration, Jesus realized that it’s not yet time and that He needs to go back to resurrect His dead body. 11. As He left, these saints of old followed Him. 12. When earthquake occurs and the grave was opened, His soul got into the body and the King of Glory came to life. 13. He came out of the grave walking that the temple guards were like dead people because of fear. 14. At that moment, early on resurrection Sunday, these saints who followed Jesus from paradise were seen walking on the streets of Jerusalem praising and worshipping God. 15. After this great event the saints returned to await us who believe in the Lord and His resurrection power. Hebrews 11 says they cannot be perfected until we all arrive. 16. Jesus is Risen, and the devil and his demons, sicknesses pestilences, viruses including Corona are defeated. 17. Let’s all go out and shout Glory to the Living God. 18. Like the Psalmist said; “I shall not die but live to declare the goodness of God”. 19. THIS IS THE GOSPEL TRUTH OF OUR RESURRECTED LORD AND GOD.
Greetings saints, today QT scripture is on the book of Psalm 12:1-8 help Lord for Godly man cease to be, for faithful disappear from the sons of man this Psalm begins with cry for help. David sees that Godly and faithful people have vanish, he looks at humanity and sees dishonesty v2 he says they speak with 'double heart' they don't mean what they say .where can we find the truth? who can we believe? Lies and flattery are all around v3 David voices his hope that God will hear his prayer and act in justice v7 teaches us to bring our struggles to God when we are beaten down and confounded by life he is our place of safety the Rock of ages Amen
Morning Saints, hope you are all kept safe in the hand of the Almighty. *My Reflection on QT - 1 Cor 4: 6 - 21.* Paul is encouraging Christians not to compare Servants of God and prefer one over the other. He mentions that the gifts the Servants have, are a gift from God, which they cannot boast about. Paul warns Servants to be careful about wanting honour from men, than from God. He says being a servant of God is not a glorified position and at times it feels like being prisoner on display in a public procession. Whereas servants of God treat their abusers with gentleness and patience, they are in turn perceived as weak, foolish, poor and garbage. Paul also questions the spirit that drives the arrogance some Christians display. He concludes by saying the Kingdom if God is about power not talk. *What is God saying to me* When serving God, find strength in looking to Christ the Author and Finisher of my faith, focus on His power and display it, not only talk about it. *My decision* It's a common thing to encounter challenges as a Servant of God, mine is to carry the cross daily and follow Jesus and open myself up to the joy of salvation.
I am so inspired just listened to a sermon on www.facebook.com/Afm Honeydew on Jesus being our Cornerstone. In these troubled and tumultuous times we need a solid rock to anchor our lives
